A licensed psychologist, Pamela Hays is the author of numerous books and articles on cultural diversity, psychotherapy, and well-being. After 26 years of clinical practice, she now focuses on teaching, writing, and providing supervision for psychotherapists in training. Her work has been featured in several videos produced by the American Psychological Association, and she is a popular presenter who provides online workshops and trainings for mental health, social service, educational, and corporate organizations. She lives with gratitude in her hometown of Soldotna, Alaska, land of the Dena’ina and home to eagles, moose, wolves, bears, salmon, and many others.
